Great Britain will no longer participate in the Erasmus Programme. The announcement was made on Christmas Eve by the Boris Johnson Administration.
Students around Europe have been left in shock as one of the major players in the the Erasmus Programme has decided to part ways. Instead, Britain will invoke a Turing program for its students
The decision has left many in the younger generation shattered. Dreams of easy mobility throughout Europe while studying have been dashed for the next generation.
Many students are venting their anger online, claiming that Boris Johnson has destroyed their futures, and also delivered a huge blow to what has already been a tough year.
The Erasmus+ Program will continue, without involvement from Britain. It will remain to be the best intercultural experience students can have. Unfortunately, the biggest loss felt will be by students of the UK
